Bikaner-based Shree Ram Papads, a manufacturer of Indian snacks, exhibited its range of products at Indusfood show in Greater Noida. The company started in 1970 by manufacturing papads and later introduced traditional Rajasthani Bikaneri namkeens, sweets, chips and tea.
At Indusfood, the company aimed to reach out to international buyers, Vijay Singh Chauhan, head – Modern Trade and Group manager at Shree Ram Papads, told IndiFoodBev.
Indusfood is the best show in India for connecting with international buyers, Chauhan said, adding the products are manufactured at the company’s plant in Bikaner. The company currently supplies its products to 17 states across India and plans to reach out to the remaining states in the near future along with exports to 20-30 countries, Chauhan said.
Though the namkeens market in India is highly competitive, Shree Ram Papads has created a name for itself based on its quality and in-plant production, he said.
