The Plasto Group, with its subsidiary Vaibhav Plasto Printing & Packaging, made a debut at Anuga FoodTec India 2025 in Mumbai, showcasing its flexible laminates and innovative packaging solutions designed for the food and beverage industry. The company’s stand featured a wide portfolio of two-, three-, and four-layer laminates to meet diverse industry needs.

Anupam Rai, marketing manager at Plasto, remarked, “This is our first time at Anuga FoodTec. The experience has been encouraging, with a fantastic response from visitors, including some of our existing clients.”

Plasto operates from Nagpur, with manufacturing units located in Hingna MIDC (Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation) and Butibori MIDC, both of which are central hubs for industrial activity. The company manufactures a wide range of flexible laminates specifically tailored to the food sector and other industries that require robust packaging materials.

Vaibhav Plasto Printing & Packaging works on flexible laminates. We highlighted two-layer, three-layer, and four-layer structures, which ultimately become the face of the products our customers pack. We serve different verticals and industry players, ensuring they get solutions that match both their technical requirements and market positioning,” Rai explained.

Rai says the company sees itself among the top 10 laminate manufacturers in India in the next five years. This strategic direction is supported by a focus on quality, expansion into new verticals, and consistent participation in leading trade shows such as Anuga FoodTec.

Emphasizing the company’s priority on innovation and customer-centricity, he said, “We position ourselves not just as a supplier of laminates but as a partner in building brand identities for clients.”

For Plasto, Anuga FoodTec provided the opportunity to engage directly with industry stakeholders, exchange ideas, and showcase its manufacturing capabilities on an international stage. “As food and beverage brands increasingly turn to flexible and sustainable packaging, companies like us are finding their solutions in high demand,” Rai said.
