Bapuna Alcobrew, a sister concern of Madhya Pradesh–headquartered Bapuna Group, presented its range of whisky and gin at the Indusfood exhibition in Greater Noida in January 2026.

The company showcased its key products — Chambal Dry Gin, Chambal – The Banjara Trail Kokum Gin, and Daku Silver Rum — manufactured at its unit in Gwalior.

The range garnered significant footfall at the company’s stand during the three-day show. Founded by the late Dinshaw Bapuna with a dream to create a lasting legacy, Bapuna Alcobrew is a third-generation, family-owned distillery that has evolved from its 1980s origins as a partnership firm into one of India’s significant alcohol manufacturers.

While the company has long served as a trusted bottling partner for international giants such as Bacardi and Pernod Ricard, it is now focusing on its in-house, Indian culture–driven spirits. The manufacturer also became the first in the state to produce grain-based spirits.

Chambal gin, an award-winning offering inspired by the rugged beauty of India’s Chambal region, captures a sense of adventure and timeless allure. Zesty lemon peels and earthy juniper lead the nose, while cinnamon, cardamom, and almond add warm spice and creamy depth, finishing with sweet citrus notes.

Daku is a clear white rum that glistens in the glass, reflecting its pure clarity. The aroma is a harmonious fusion of sweetness and mild spice, with creamy vanilla, freshly grated nutmeg, and subtle hints of mace. The rum offers a universe of flavors within the glass and can be enjoyed neat or in favorite cocktails.

During an interaction with IndiFoodBev, Piyush Bora, brand ambassador for the group, praised the show as a rich platform for expanding export opportunities and exchanging ideas on trends in the alcobev space. He also highlighted that the company brews beer and other alcobev products.
