Food and beverage major Nestle India showcased its baking and cooking essentials at the Sial India 2024 show in Dwarka, New Delhi. The company plans to launch a KitKat spread in the Indian market in January 2025.

The sales team was present at the company stand, which featured live cooking and tasting with an in-house chef making Thai cuisine such as Thai curry and Khao Soi. The company representative told IndiFoodBev that the company’s global footprint is growing at a phenomenal pace. The products gaining special attention are coconut milk powder, KitKat bits, spreads, and premixes.

At the show that was targeted at exports, the Nestle team used its Milkmaid condensed milk, coconut milk powder, and KitKat bits to make cookies, brownies, and other desserts, which were displayed at the stand. According to the sales team, the footfall at the Nestle stand was tremendous with at least 300-400 visitors each day and some serious sales inquiries.

On growing innovations in India, the company plans to launch a KitKat spread in the Indian market. The chocolate spread has been performing very well in the global markets and so the company feels that it will do wonders when it launches in India in January 2025.
