Prompt Equipment, a company with a 30-year legacy in the industry, showcased its extensive portfolio at the dairy exhibition in Delhi in February. Senior marketing manager Pinal Maru said the company presented over 45 innovative products designed to support the dairy sector from the farm, milk collection, sustainable chilling, food safety, and supply chain automation.

The event served as a major platform for the company, which inaugurated five new products in the presence of industry leaders such as Jayen Mehta, chairman of GCMMF, DK Suresh, chairman of BAMUL, and Meenesh Shah, chairman of NDDB.

The showcase featured several specialized farm management tools, including bovine pregnancy and mastitis detection kits, as well as advanced semen analyzers. One of the most notable innovations presented was a hydroponic fodder system. This technology allows farmers to grow high-quality fodder within just seven days without the need for soil or land, significantly reducing water usage and providing a cost-effective solution for livestock nutrition.

To reach farmers more effectively, the company is utilizing its online B2C platform, Prompt DairyMart, to sell these management products directly to the end user.

In addition to farm-level tools, Prompt Equipment introduced the rapid cooling solution MilkoChill BMC. The thermal-based bulk milk cooler can chill milk within one hour, a significant improvement over the seven hours required by conventional systems. An even faster instant milk chiller was also displayed, capable of cooling milk in just 10 minutes.

Furthermore, through its partner company, IndiFOSS, Prompt showcased advanced food safety and analysis equipment, including the FT3 machine and various spectrometers. A key technical highlight of the new launches was the somatic cell count technology, which is used to detect mastitis directly from a cow’s blood cells to ensure higher milk quality.

While the company’s current offerings are primarily B2B-focused, its participation at DIC is aimed at securing new customers, forming joint ventures, and establishing partnerships with new dairies. By integrating traceability and advanced analysis into its overall portfolio, Prompt Equipment seeks to modernize the entire milk collection and cooling process for the industry.
