Gujarat-based Uma Techno Fab showcased its frying line at the Anuga FoodTec 2024, held at Mumbai’s Bombay Exhibition Centre. Uma’s frying lines, designed for items such as namkeens and wafers, come in three variants — one with a capacity to fry 300 kilograms per hour, another at 500 kilograms per hour, and the third at 1,000 kilograms per hour.
“We can supply frying lines tailored to customers’ needs. We serve major players such as Haldirams, Gopal, Gokul, and Balaji, among others. Our installation base for frying lines exceeds 250 units. We have also exported our lines to the US, Canada, and Africa,” said Hardik Manvar of Uma Techno Fab.
In addition to the food segment, Uma Techno Fab manufactures processing machinery for the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. The company operates its manufacturing base in Ahmedabad.
Reflecting on the Anuga FoodTec show, Manvar said the company met many potential customers. “The response was very positive. Most visitors were from the food segment, and we had a great time. Anuga FoodTec has been more successful for us compared to similar expos in Gujarat,” he said.
