Concord Printing, a leading packaging solutions provider from Baroda, showcased its range of food packaging and celebration packaging solutions at Anuga FoodTec 2025 in Mumbai. Arshad Memon from Concord Printing highlighted the company’s expertise in monocartons, luxury packaging, and pharmaceutical packaging, while sharing its vision for future expansion in corrugation and labels.

The company serves a diverse set of industries, including FMCG, perfumery, luxury products, pharmaceuticals, and food packaging. While luxury packaging is an add-on vertical mainly for perfumeries and FMCG brands, its core focus in the exhibition dedicated to the food industry was food packaging, along with gift-oriented celebration packaging.

According to Memon, these segments are witnessing a rising demand, particularly in India, where food brands are exploring innovative, attractive, and sustainable packaging formats. “We are mostly showcasing food packaging and gift packaging — our two major agendas at this exhibition,” he said. While the company works with multiple Indian brands, a significant part of its food packaging is exported.

Our target is expanding visibility… We plan to expand globally. So, we are expecting some customers who are not from India, with whom we can connect for future business,” he had said at the show.

Memon said the company’s plant at Halol industrial area has machines from Heidelberg, Mitsubishi, Ryobi, and Bobst. It has Zhongke converting equipment for luxury cartons and hard boxes. Another notable strength is the company’s in-house ink kitchen, established three years ago. As we wrote earlier this year, Concord installed a 40” SASG UV dryer with automatic sheet from SASG UV Solutions for print embellishments. “This UV dryer is a magnificent system. With its automatic sheet feeder, this UV curing machine embellishes papers of different textures for amazing outputs. It totally uplifts our print innovation into a new level,” said Kayyum Memon at the time.

The ink kitchen allows us to prepare special colors and Pantone shades on-site. This helps us reduce downtime, respond faster to client requirements, and ensure customer satisfaction,” Memon said. With in-house mixing, the company can quickly address challenges such as colour mismatch, offering greater flexibility and control.

Concord Printing aims to broaden its portfolio beyond monocartons. Memon said they are considering entering the labels segment, which would complement the existing offerings. It plans to scale its corrugation operations.

While it produces corrugated packaging integrated with monocartons, it does not manufacture shipper boxes. “We might have a separate plant for corrugation packaging, including shipper boxes, so that we can become a one-stop solution for all packaging requirements,” Memon said.

Manroland Sheetfed Evolution press

Ordered in June 2025, Concord Printing will get its Manroland Sheetfed R707LV Evolution 7-color UV plus coater press in January 2026. Apart from presses from its Heidelberg, RMGT and others, this is the company’s first investment in a manroland press. Kayyum Memon says the machine will be installed and will be in operation by the end of February 2026.
