At Anuga FoodTec 2024, held from 20-22 August at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, Mettler Toledo showcased a comprehensive range of product inspection solutions, including x-ray machines, metal detectors, and checkweighers.
The company demonstrated solutions aimed at ensuring product quality for the food industry, such as moisture analyzers and titrators. Additionally, sensors designed primarily for the liquor industry were featured, along with software solutions to maintain recipe consistency.
Siddharth Kachroo, business manager – product inspection & global key accounts at Mettler Toledo India, highlighted two key products.
“One is the M-Series metal detector, launched about a year and a half ago. While it was showcased last year, it has gained momentum this year. It offers advanced technology in metal detection, suitable for both wet and dry applications, and provides better sensitivity than conventional detectors,” Kachroo explained.
The second product he introduced was the new X12 X-ray machine. “This is a state-of-the-art product with a 150-watt capacity and a diode size of 0.4 mm, delivering excellent results,” he added.
Talking about the show, he said the event was organized very well and the footfall was impressive. “People were coming with their products for trials. They were spending time on the machines, learning about it. Most of the visitors were from the food industry or related to the food industry,” Kachroo concluded.
