Horti Green Foods showcased its range of fruit-based ingredients at Fi India 2026 in Mumbai, highlighting customized fruit juice concentrates designed to meet the evolving requirements of food and beverage manufacturers.
The company presented more than 40 variants of lemon juice concentrate along with its Valencia Orange Juice Concentrate, developed using carefully selected imported Valencia oranges.
According to Vellanki Suguna Priya, CEO of Horti Green Foods, the company focuses on delivering “consistent quality, authentic fruit flavour, customized specifications, and reliable supply solutions” to food and beverage manufacturers.
The lemon juice concentrate portfolio is designed to address diverse applications rather than follow a one-size-fits-all approach. The variants can be used across beverages, dairy and paneer manufacturing, spray drying, cooking, sauces and HORECA applications. This application-specific approach enables manufacturers to select ingredients according to their individual formulation and processing requirements.
Priya said the company’s range allows manufacturers to achieve greater consistency in finished products while simplifying ingredient sourcing and production. She added that the company’s Valencia Orange Juice Concentrate is manufactured using imported Valencia oranges to deliver a richer, more aromatic orange profile for customers seeking a specific fruit character.
Sustainability and logistics efficiency also form part of Horti Green Foods’ proposition. The company’s concentrates provide a standardized ingredient with controlled specifications, helping manufacturers reduce variability during production. The products are also supplied in ambient-stable formats, eliminating the need for refrigerated transportation.
“This helps reduce the risk of product spoilage caused by cold-chain disruptions or vehicle breakdowns,” Priya explained, while also pointing to the lower energy consumption associated with avoiding refrigerated transportation. According to the company, this can improve logistics efficiency and lower the overall carbon footprint.
The concentrated nature of the products also means that a higher quantity of fruit solids can be transported in a smaller volume, potentially reducing transportation requirements and storage space. In addition, Horti Green Foods follows a made-to-order production approach, manufacturing according to customer requirements to minimise unnecessary inventory and potential product wastage.
Priya noted that bringing ingredients, processing and packaging technologies together at Fi India creates an opportunity to understand changing manufacturer requirements and gain insights into developments across the wider food and beverage value chain. She said such interaction can encourage collaboration and support the development of more integrated and efficient solutions.
With demand increasing in India as well as international markets, Horti Green Foods sees significant potential for continued growth in the fruit ingredients segment.
