The World Seafood Congress 2026, a global gathering of industry leaders, innovators, policymakers, and stakeholders, is convening to shape the future of the seafood industry in Chennai, India, from 9-11 February 2026. This event provides a platform to learn, connect, and explore the future of the global seafood ecosystem.

The World Seafood Congress 2026 is jointly organized by IAFI and PDA Ventures, and co-organized by the government of India, represented by the department of fisheries, ministry of food processing industries, ministry of earth sciences, and Niti Aayog.

The International Association of Fish Inspectors (IAFI), an international NGO recognized by the United Nations, brings together fish inspectors and those who have an interest in this field from different countries and backgrounds – government, the fish and seafood harvesting, processing, and marketing industries, academia, public and private organizations, and other diverse disciplines to provide them with opportunities. They have regional committees in North America, Asia, Europe, South America, Africa, and Australasia / Pacific.

PDA Ventures has been organizing distinct sector-specific B2B trade fairs, events, conferences, roadshows, and business forums in India and overseas for over 20 years now, and are amongst India’ largest home-grown private enterprise trade show organizing companies.
