Mahaan Milk Foods, an Indian dairy and ingredients company, highlighted its dairy-based ingredients at the Fi India show in Greater Noida in September. While the show was majorly for B2B ingredient companies, Mahaan was among the few with B2C segments as well, which included milk, ghee, butter, and milk powders. According to the company, it was a great opportunity for the company to meet and greet existing and potential customers.
Established in 1987, the company, with a production unit in UP’s Hathras and a corporate office in Delhi, hosted several visitors at its stand during the three-day show. It highlighted whey protein isolates and concentrates in different flavors and flavorless variants.
For both domestic and international markets, Mahaan Foods has a wide product range among three divisions — retail, ingredients, and bakery. Tanya Kapur, marketing manager, Mahaan Milk Foods, told IndiFoodBev that the ingredients markets are evolving with new solutions every day, and in such a scenario sharing information on the right ingredient for the right application becomes crucial.
She said, “We work stringently with our customers, not just explaining what a product does, but conducting trials on their requirements to better guide how the end product will look, feel, and taste. We promote application-based sales alongside informing customers about the global and Indian market trends.”
Mahaan prioritizes food safety and responsibility in its business model. “We aim to offer safe and superior quality products, incorporating sustainable practices to contribute to the environment. We focus on rapidly growing, health-oriented categories, staying abreast of both global and local food trends. Beyond being mere vendors, we serve as strategic partners to the global food industry.”
