Farmery, a Gurugram-based direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand offering dairy items and other farm-based products, is diversifying its offerings. The company that aims at serving nutritious, chemical-free, and preservative-free milk was established in 2015, taken over by Kamakshi Nagar in 2018, who saw an opportunity to create a platform that connects farmers directly with consumers, eliminating intermediaries to ensure the highest quality produce.

According to Nagar, Farmery offers a diverse range of farm fresh & organic products, including fresh produce, dairy items, organic grains, pulses, spices, chemical residue-free fruits & vegetables.

We focus on providing farm-to-table freshness, ensuring our products are sourced directly from local farmers and delivered to customers in their best state. Farmery was launched with a passion for providing consumers with fresh, organic, and sustainable food recognizing the growing demand for healthy and ethical food products,” she said.

Its product distribution is primarily focused in Delhi-NCR and gradually moving towards the urban sectors. Farmery hopes to maintain a strong network of suppliers and delivery partners to ensure efficient and timely delivery of its products.

Nagar says the company’s supply chain management involves careful planning, coordination, and quality control measures to guarantee product freshness and customer satisfaction. “Farmery prioritizes transparency and traceability to assure customers of the authenticity and quality of our products. We provide detailed information on our sourcing practices, production processes, and certifications. Additionally, we encourage customers to verify the authenticity of products through direct farm visits.”

On industry trends, Nagar says that Farmery leverages various technologies to enhance its operations and provide a seamless customer experience. The company, she says, pays special attention to cold chain management systems, enhancing traceability through eCommerce platforms and its application for smartphones, and data analytics to gain insights into customer preferences exploring more market trends.

Farmery is currently running several projects that include expanding its product portfolio to include value-added organic products, strengthening its presence beyond Delhi-NCR, and developing international clientage and expansion opportunities.

We aim to increase our market reach by entering new regions and cities. We are exploring opportunities to collaborate with retailers and food service businesses to enable our products to be more accessible to consumers,” she said.
