Following its second edition, Free From & Fine Food Dubai returns to Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre on 24-25 September 2025. Co-located once again with the Future Food Forum, this edition reaffirms its position as one of the Middle East’s leading trade events for both Free From and Fine Food sectors.
The 2024 edition welcomed over 1,200 professionals from 33 countries, including more than 200 VIP buyers. The curated B2B matchmaking program, managed by Global Management Dubai, facilitated over 365 meetings. According to post-event reports, 91% of exhibitors expect to generate sales as a result of the show.
Liya Cherian, representing the South African Pavilion in 2024 said, “We are mighty pleased with the event. We’ve had one day of workshops where we got to meet different stakeholders, various programs, and opportunities in Dubai, and we’re having a great networking event here.”
A standout feature of the show remains its co-location with the Future Food Forum, organized by the UAE Food & Beverage Business Group (FBMG), among the region’s most influential F&B platforms supported by the Dubai Chamber of Commerce. The forum continues to draw top decision-makers from government, retail, and manufacturing to engage in strategic dialogue on food systems, sustainability, and innovation. Business Sweden will also join the upcoming edition by organizing a National Pavilion to further promote Nordic excellence.
Free From & Fine Food Dubai’s unique positioning brings together exhibitors from across the Free From spectrum (gluten-free, dairy-free, allergen-free) alongside premium Fine Food producers offering high-quality, gourmet, and specialty products. This dual-sector focus caters to the region’s rising demand for both health-conscious and indulgent food solutions.
Adrien Thevenet from La Vie adds, “The Free From Food Trade Show is a very interesting trade show to attend. Honestly, the return on investment is worth it. So far we have met with great contacts here from the world industry, and with this matchmaking team and their people, they are bringing the right players to yourself. So it’s very interesting on this side. People are responding well to our product, vegan bacon.”
Guy Greenblat from Outcast Food shared, “We’re having a wonderful time. It’s exciting—so many positive experiences and wonderful people that we’ve met.”
Global demand is also a driving force. The global healthy snacks market reached US$ 101.3 billion in 2024 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 6.2% through 2034. With increasing demand for clean-label, functional, and plant-based snacks, companies aligned with these trends are well-positioned for international expansion.
As UAE consumers increasingly prioritize transparency, quality, and ethical sourcing, the Free From and Fine Food categories are expected to see continued growth. Market analysts project a strong CAGR across gluten-free, organic, and functional foods in the region beyond 2025.
With Business Sweden’s participation, South Africa’s return, and growing regional momentum in the healthy and premium food space, Free From & Fine Food Dubai 2025 is set to be its biggest and most impactful edition to date.
