India will be the partner country for Gulfood 2026, scheduled to be held at the Dubai World Trade from 26 to 30 January 2026, the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) announced in an X (Twitter) post.

“It is a matter of great pride to announce that India will be the Partner Country for Gulfood 2026. This partnership highlights ourstrength and the growing significance of Indian products in ensuring global food security.”

The authority said India has consistently been the largest participating country at Gulfood, UAE, with hundreds of companies showcasing the nation’s diverse and high-quality food basket – reflecting its position as a trusted global supplier and an emerging leader in agri-food exports.

To strengthen the collaboration, APEDA signed a MoU with the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), Dubai.

In another social media post, APEDA said India has been announced as ‘Country of the Year’ at BIOFACH, Germany – the World’s Leading Trade Fair for Organic Food scheduled for 10 to 13 February, 2026 – reaffirming its Global Organic Presence.
