Parle Agro has signed actor Dulquer Salmaan as the brand ambassador of Smoodh for the southern markets of India.

Parle Agro has launched Smoodh Fruit Smoothies, yet another product under their dairy brand, Smoodh. The new launch is a combination of fruits and yogurt in a variety of flavors. Parle Agro has also signed actor Dulquer Salmaan as the brand ambassador of Smoodh for the southern markets of India. He joins Varun Dhawan, who is the face of the brand nationally. 

The smoothies come in three variants – Guava Chilli, Banana Rum, and Mixed Berries. Parle has launched the smoothies at Rs 10 for an 85-ml carton pack and Rs 15 for a 125-ml bottle.

Nadia Chauhan, joint managing director, and CMO, Parle Agro said, “India is a dairy-loving country. Keeping that in mind, coupled with the huge success of Smoodh flavored milk, we launched another offering, Smoodh Fruit Smoothies.  Another step towards our vision of making our dairy brand  Smoodh a Rs 5,000-crore brand by 2025.”  

 Commenting on the association, Dulquer Salmaan shared “I’m thrilled to be the brand ambassador for Smoodh and take it to the masses.” 

A TVC with Dulquer Salmaan has been launched in Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu, and is playing on key channels of the respective regions. Varun Dhawan features in the Hindi version of the TVC.
