Earthling, India’s rapidly growing foodservice solutions company, recently inaugurated the Earthling Centre of Culinary Excellence in Gurugram. The Centre has been established as a dedicated platform to advance culinary learning, innovation, and industry engagement within India’s evolving foodservice and hospitality ecosystem.
The inauguration was marked by a curated industry engagement session attended by chefs, culinary professionals, educators, and students. Designed as a collaborative space, Earthling Centre of Culinary Excellence brings together culinary education, ingredient innovation, and applied industry learning to address the changing needs of modern commercial kitchens.
As India’s foodservice sector continues to expand, with increasing expectations around consistency, speed, and operational efficiency, the Centre aims to bridge the gap between theoretical training and real-world kitchen operations. It will focus on international culinary practices, menu development, and contemporary kitchen solutions, providing participants with practical, industry-relevant exposure. The Centre will host chefs, food technologists, and industry experts to encourage skill development, experimentation, and knowledge exchange.
Commenting on the inauguration, Shippy Sharma, managing director, Earthling, said, “Through Earthling Centre of Culinary Excellence, we plan to develop a collaborative ecosystem which involves industry chefs, product companies, food scientists, tasting experts, culinary academia and aspiring students together. It is aimed to foster greater understanding of new trends, commercial kitchen requirements and practices.”
The inauguration featured a focused masterclass on Asian Culinary Innovation conducted by Chef Vaibhav Bhargava, who shared insights into modern Asian techniques, flavour development, and the evolving expectations of today’s foodservice consumer. Chef Bhargava demonstrated these techniques using ingredients from Earthling’s in-house brands Royal Grove and Wonderfills, along with globally recognised Asian sauces and condiments from Namjai and Lee Kum Kee. The session fostered interactive dialogue and hands-on learning, making the launch both experiential and engaging.
The launch of the Earthling Centre of Culinary Excellence marks an important addition to Gurugram’s growing foodservice and hospitality landscape. As the city continues to emerge as a hub for restaurants, cloud kitchens, and institutional dining, the Centre is positioned to support skill development, innovation, and industry-ready learning aligned with the needs of modern kitchens.
The company envisions it as a long-term platform for ongoing masterclasses, workshops, and industry-led initiatives. By creating a structured space for continuous learning and collaboration, the Centre is expected to contribute meaningfully to the sustainable growth of India’s foodservice and hospitality ecosystem.
