A provider of processing, inspection, packaging and end of line solutions for food, beverage, pharma, retail, hospitality and HoReCa (hotel, restaurant, cafe) industries, Ace Technologies is a one-stop shop. The company recently designed and equipped a complete brewery in Bengaluru, the micro model of which is displayed at its stand at Drink Technology India 2019 (DTI).
Operating since 20 years, the company is a manufacturer as well as supplier of machines in India. Based in Mumbai, Ace Technologies also has offices in Delhi and Bengaluru and supplies to neighboring countries including Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Nepal.
Explaining the solutions provided by the company, Hari Menon, director, Ace Technologies, said, “We provide a complete solution, right from the processing to packaging. For example, in case of craft beer, we start by inspection of the glass beer bottles to ensure that they are safe to refill. The product is then filled and sealed. It is inspected again for any leaks and is labelled. Next, the product is packaged in secondary packaging. We provide machines for each step of the process. Same goes for food packaging.” The company also provides the backend solution, including refrigeration, to front-end solutions such as dispensing and kegging.
The company has service units in India from where it provides complete service and part replacement. “Whenever there is an issue with a machine, we keep the parts in-house so the customer does not have to wait for the part to be imported,” Menon added.
In case of cosmetics, the company provides glass and plastic packaging machinery to leading companies such as L’Oreal. For pharma, the company provides processing, packaging, and inspection machines for injectables and vials.
At Drink Technology India, the company is selling its complete range for craft beers for processing, packaging and inspecting. However, the dispensing and kegging solutions are the only ones on display.
“We are constantly working on our products and we focus mainly on technology and knowledge. We participate in many exhibitions in India and overseas. We learn a lot from the international shows and try to use the knowledge to better our products and services. We also provide custom solutions for customers with specific demands,” Menon said. Ace Technologies has been participating at DTI since the very first edition. “However, the Mumbai show always has better footfall than the Delhi show. People come to the Mumbai show from all over. Our objective at DTI is not to sell but to educate our customers and answer their questions. Sales is a part of it and something that eventually happens,” Menon concluded.
