AGI Greenpac, an Indian provider of packaging products such as glass containers, specialty glass, polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles and products, and security caps and closures, showcased its glass, plastic, and closure solutions at Aahar 2025 in Pragati Maidan, Delhi. The company manufactures glass containers and specialty glass under the brand AGI Glaspac to meet the packaging needs of food, pharmaceuticals, soft drinks, spirits, beer, wine, and other industries.
India’s largest manufacturer of container glass, AGI which has its head office in Gurugram, recently inaugurated a regional office in Dubai. In 2024, AGI Greenpac invested ₹230 crore to modernize its existing furnaces, implement the latest technologies, and optimize its production.
With a daily production capacity of 154 tons, the specialty glass facility serves various industries, including cosmetics, perfumery, candle jars, and premium alcohol beverage segments. The specialty glass plants in Bhongir, Telangana, have been fully operational since January 2023.

Rajesh Khosla, CEO of AGI Greenpac, told Packaging South Asia that Aahar is an important show for the company as it showcases products from many segments, perfectly apt for AGI’s diverse offerings. “The food segment along with AlcoBev, beverages, pharma and cosmetics are key segments for us. Many food companies that are potential clients visited our stand and so participating at the show was quite fruitful.”
On its products, Khosla said, “We are the only company in India that can make colored glass such as cobalt blue, light blue, black, and even smoke-colored glass bottles. We have a strong foothold in commercial glass and specialty glass, which we have displayed at our stand. Retail is a separate market for us where we are especially aggressive. Our bottles can be found at most high-end hotel chains in India as well.”
The company is getting strong in the security caps and closures segment. It has developed premium caps and closures with wood, which aligns with its luxury and sustainability. It manufactures the caps and closures at its plant in Telangana.

It sells liquor bottles to countries such as Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. The company is known to make premium colored, decorative, and specialty glass bottles and vials, incorporating any type of coating, printing, and hot foil stamping in-house.
On its plans, Khosla said AGI has increased R&D on tamper-free closure solutions. In addition, it plans to launch more products.
