In the future, the global packaging machine manufacturer Erca S A S will be headed up by two executives. Olivier Chevreteau and Jean-Claude Liégeois have been appointed as managing directors effective from 15 May 2020, the company mentioned in a press statement.

Based in Courtaboeuf and Falaise, France, Erca S A S is a global company and a part of Germany-based packaging machinery and technology supplier IMA Dairy and Food. The company (Erca S A S) portfolio includes FFS machines as well as FS machines for pre-formed cups and is focused on applications for the dairy and food industries. IMA has a worldwide presence in India, Italy, Germany, France, the UK, Switzerland, Spain, the US, and China.

Dual leadership for Erca S A S

Both managers have several decades of management experience and know-how in the packaging industry. Before joining Erca S A S, Olivier Chevreteau worked for the French Serac Group for more than 12 years; the last three years as sales director Europe, CIS, Middle East, and Africa. Olivier Chevreteau has more than 30 years of experience in the packaging industry. Jean-Claude Liégois also worked for the Serac Group for more than 27 years; the last three years as chief executive officer of Serac S A S and vice president of the Serac Group.

According to the press release, in their new positions at the helm of Erca S A S, they are responsible for the following tasks – Olivier Chrevreteau is responsible for the Courtaboeuf site (near Paris) and is therefore responsible for sales and service. Jean-Claude Liégeois is responsible for the Falaise site (in Normandy) and is therefore responsible for research and development, production and operations. The Falaise location was strengthened by the concentration of the complete production of the form, fill and seal machines, as well as the new fill and seal machines for pre-formed cups that were added to the portfolio.
