SGS & V-Label to conduct webinar on vegan and vegetarian certification services

Webinar to dive into developing vegan and vegetarian markets

The V-Label is an internationally recognized and protected trademark for the labeling of vegetarian and vegan products, it has been in use since 1996 and currently covers 40,000 products and 3500 license holders.

SGS and V-Label will be working in partnership from 2021 to deliver audits to companies and sites wishing to gain certification for the use of the V-Label product marks.

SGS and V-Label are organizing a complimentary webinar on vegan and vegetarian certification services on 14 September 2021 in two sessions. The first session will take place at 1300 hrs IST while the second session will be held from 1930 hrs IST.

The webinar will begin with an introduction to V-Label, the European Vegetarian Union, and will go on to cover the developing vegan and vegetarian markets; and the V-Label certification program in partnership with SGS (certification process details). The webinar will be followed by a Q&A session.
