At ProPak Asia 2024, 12 – 15 June, the region’s leading trade event for food, drink and pharmaceutical processing and packaging technologies, Sidel will be showcasing its world leading aseptic solutions. Held at the Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC), the show brings together professionals from 45 countries.
The Asia Pacific (APAC) aseptic packaging market size is estimated at US $30billion and is expected to reach over $50 billion by 2029.
“For the food and beverage industry, sustainable packaging and longer shelf life are becoming increasingly important to consumers across the APAC region, driving the need for greater aseptic packaging,” comments Parkpoom Praprom, Sidel sales director, West & East Asia.
“Sidel supports this expanding market with over five decades of experience and will be showcasing the Aseptic Combi Predis at ProPak Asia.”
An integrated blow-fill-cap solution for PET bottles, the Aseptic Combi Predis incorporates Sidel’s patented Predi dry preform sterilization. By eliminating conveying, empty-bottle handling, accumulation and storage, this solution ensures continuous production time and efficiency.
Super Combi: five-in-one process integration
Sidel’s all-in-one Super Combi solution will also be exhibited at ProPak and integrates five process steps – preform feeding, blowing, labelling, filling and cap feeding – into a single system. The solution, ideal for water and carbonated soft drink production, uses equipment intelligence to continuously optimize production and enhance performance.
Recently Sidel installed its Super Combi for Mai Dubai, one the leading bottled water companies in the United Arab Emirates. The facility is thought to be the fastest single line in the Asia, Middle East and Africa region filling at 86,000 bottles per hour in three different formats – 200 ml, 330 ml and 500 ml.
Robotic and cobotic palletising
On-stand, Sidel will be demonstrating its advanced range of collaborative palletising solutions CoboAccess_Pal S and the RoboAccess_Pal S. The CoboAccess_Pal S is an industrial, advanced and modular cobotic palletising solution. The cobotic machine can reach payloads of up to 10kg whilst producing 6 cycles per minute which can maximize product efficiency.
RoboAccess_Pal S can deliver speeds of up to 12 cycles per minute and enables a case payload of up to 25kg allowing manufacturers to meet market demands with ease. The palletiser offers a compact design that enables two stations to be set up with a footprint of less than 12m2.
Discover wrapping innovations
EvoFilm Stretch, Sidel’s latest high-speed seamless shrink-wrapping range, will also be available to view on the stand AB06 at ProPak Asia.
“Compared to traditional options, our new stretch wrapping solution is a sustainable choice for customers who are looking for alternative secondary packaging. EvoFilm mainly targets multipacks and logistics packs, where printed film is not required, ensuring material reduction and cost-savings,” said Parkpoom from Sidel.
“With speeds up to eighty packs per minute, the new solution quickly stretches the film and applies the correct wrapping force to any packaging format, ideal for meeting the demands facing the beverages and FHPC industries.”
