India’s home-grown diary giant Amul has announced the launch of its latest innovation, the world’s first high protein kulfi. Team KKR launched the product in Kolkata on 25 April 2025.

A mango-flavored kulfi with 10g protein and only 57 kcal in a 60g pack, it is low in fat, lactose-free, prebiotic, has no added sugar and provides 100 million CFU probiotics, Amul announced.

It will be soon available on all our official qComm partners.

Jayen Mehta, managing director, Amul, said he is “excited for this innovation and many more upcoming high protein products such as paratha, sandwich, snacks, ice cream, coffee, etc. to ensure that every Indian gets at least 1g protein per kg body weight every day.”
