The Paul John Indian Single Malt Whisky portfolio, crafted and matured in India, has been recognized with multiple honors at the World Whiskies Awards 2026, held in the United Kingdom, highlighting the growing global standing of Indian single malts.

The only Indian Single Malt Whisky with over 350+ distinguished awards across leading international competitions, the brand’s journey reflects India’s artistry in whisky making and its recognition by the world’s most influential spirits authorities.

Paul John Indian Single Malt Whisky was further distinguished this year with its Port Select Cask winning Best Indian Single Malt, Gold, and Category Winner in the Single Malt – No Age Statement category at this year’s acclaimed World Whisky Awards.

Bottled at 48% ABV the unpeated Paul John Select Cask Port opens with aromas of vanilla, dark plum and red liquorice, leading to flavours of candied fruit, light ginger and peppery nutmeg. The finish is long and zesty, with hints of orange mocha and spiced chocolate.

This expression is the latest addition to the award-winning Select Cask range of Paul John Indian Single Malt. Being the only Indian Single Malt to achieve this honour, the brand further cements its standing as one of the most consistently awarded Indian whiskies on the global stage.

Adding to this glorious win, Paul John Nirvana, bottled at 40% ABV received a Bronze medal, reinforcing the brand’s consistent performance and presence across leading global whisky competitions.

Commenting on the achievement, Paul P John, Chairman said, “These awards reflect the precision, patience and dedication that go into every expression we produce. Each whisky represents a careful balance of climate influenced maturation and flavour development, and being consistently recognised on a global stage reinforces the strength of our approach. It is a proud moment for the entire team.”

The World Whiskies Awards are judged through blind tastings by an international panel of industry experts, including master distillers, journalists, and whisky specialists. The multiple honours for the Port Cask expression reflect the precision of its maturation and the complexity of its flavour profile, while the recognition for Nirvana further highlights the depth of the range.

Recognized across its portfolio with Masters, Gold and Innovation awards, Paul John Whisky has played a key role in shaping the narrative of Indian single malt whisky. The latest accolades reaffirm Paul John’s standing as one of India’s foremost single malt producers, as Indian whisky continues to earn recognition alongside established global regions.
