Biakno offers 17 new gifting options

With the festive season kicking in, FMCG brand Bikano has announced many gift packs for its consumers. The company said 17 different gift packages, which are carefully curated, keeping in mind all the tastes and choices, contain all the brand products, including sweets, namkeens, bhujias, dry fruits, and plenty of others exclusively for this season.

Established back in 1950, Bikano is one of the packaged snack brands in the country. Tapping traditionally rich Indian culinary heritage and its signature offerings, it is said to occupy a permanent presence among consumers. What began as Bikaner Namkeen Bhandar, a modest tuck shop in Chandni Chowk, has turned into a global sweet and savory brand. Today, it has presence in over 35 countries, including the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Asia, Middle East, Africa, and the Indian sub-continent. Within the country, too, through a well-established distribution network, it maintains its presence at retail, modern trade, national and international stores, airports, railways, government stores, military, and police canteens and institutions.

Today, Bikano boasts of five major production facilities across New Delhi, Greater Noida, and Rajasthan. The company claims that its products are packed under ambient conditions through an application called MAP (Modified Atmosphere Packaging). Bikano has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 by UL India while also being recognized as a HACCP and SQF 2000 CM-certified organization. Its quality standards are also in accord with the FDA’s and Australia’s and New Zealand’s regulations. With a rise in demand for ready-to-eat food, Bikano has ventured into the RTE segment as well.

Keeping in mind the popularity of Diwali, the festival of lights, among Indians across the world, the gifting options are a way of sharing the bond of good health with loved ones.

“During festivities more and more people would want to come out and visit their relatives and loved ones, colleagues, business partners and even acquaintances and celebrate these festivals with one another. Naturally, sharing gifts and goodies in this all-round joyous and cheerful atmosphere would be inevitable. With our large number of 17 assorted offerings, we wanted to be a part of that collective celebration and not miss all the fun,” said Manish Aggarwal, director, Bikano Group.

In a quality-driven conscious consumer environment, the post lockdown trend has seen consumers moving to packaged snacks as these are more hygienic and safer. “Quality has always been a non-negotiable proposition for Bikano. We fully understand people’s concerns on health and hygiene particularly post-Covid-19. As such, our manufacturing and processing plants have maintained hundred percent fail-proof production processes with our workers observing most stringent manufacturing, processing and packaging practices,” Aggarwal further elaborated.

Bikano’s festive offerings

Bikano said it has pulled out all the stops in making this festive season a ‘deliciously memorable’ one for everyone. For those with a sweet tooth, Meetha Bandhan is a gift basket of gulab jamuns and rasgollas. And for those who have a thing for the spicy and the salty, there is Anupam comprising Chatax Masala, Abhinandan containing Chatax Achari, and Tarang packed with chana pataka, paneer bhujia, and aloo bhujia. “With such a wide exclusive range of gift packs for this festive season, the brand Bikano is set to tingle the emotional chord of our existing consumers and shall definitely attract lot of new ones as well. Diwali gift hampers are a way for us to reinforce our brand connect among sweet and savoury lovers in the country and beyond,” said Dawinder Pal, head of marketing at Bikano. The company has decided to contribute Rs 1 to PM Cares Fund for every gift hamper sold this season.
