With an aim to ‘Inspire Food Business,’ food brands marked their presence at SIAL India 2024, held from December 5 to 7 December 2024, at the India International Convention & Expo Centre (IICC), Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi. As part of the globally recognized SIAL (Salon International de l’Alimentation) network, this exhibition served as a melting pot for food industry leaders, chefs, and enthusiasts to explore the latest trends, innovations, and opportunities shaping the future of food.
This year’s event drew participation from domestic and international brands, showcasing a diverse range of products and expertise. As a bridge between local and global markets, SIAL India underscored its role in driving connections and collaborations within the food industry.
The exhibition highlighted the increasing prominence of Indian brands on the international stage. Representing a variety of sectors such as spices, dairy, and ready-to-eat meals, Indian exhibitors utilized the platform to demonstrate their capabilities to global buyers.
One exhibitor noted, “Indian brands are leveraging this platform to showcase their expertise in spices, dairy products, and ready-to-eat meals. This highlights the country’s emphasis on quality and diversity, solidifying its standing in the global food industry.”
This sentiment echoed throughout the expo with established and emerging Indian players making their mark. Various exhibitors ranging from small producers to large-scale manufacturers, showcased their products.
