Licious the pan-India meat supplier and home delivery start-up that has grown in the past two years of the pandemic has launched its direct to consumer plant-based meat branded UnCrave. Licious says that its plant-based chicken and mutton-like offerings have taken more than two years to develop and are aimed not just at vegetarians but at Indian meat eaters who prefer not to eat meat on certain days.

Licious is current valued at US$ 1.47 billion (approximately Rs. 12,000 crore) in the financial press and it is also reported that the Indian plant-based meat market is likely reach US$ 500 million in the next three years.
