Coffee Day Global, which operates Café Coffee Day (CCD), reported a return to profitability in FY26, posting a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹14 crore. This marks a significant turnaround from the ₹176 crore loss recorded in the previous financial year.
The company’s revenue from operations grew by 5.7% year-on-year to ₹1,094 crore, up from ₹1,034 crore in FY25. This steady rise reflects gradual recovery in business performance despite a challenging retail environment.
Operating profit also showed strong improvement. EBITDA increased 27% to ₹198 crore, indicating better cost control and operational efficiency across the business.
However, CCD continued to rationalize its physical presence. The total number of outlets declined slightly to 424 in FY26, compared to 435 outlets a year earlier.
At the same time, the company expanded its vending machine network, which grew to 55,802 units, strengthening its presence beyond traditional café formats.
Average sales per day (ASPD) saw a marginal increase to ₹21,101 from ₹21,016 last year. Despite this improvement, same-store sales growth remained slightly negative at -1.72%, signaling lingering pressure on existing outlets.
