Gujarat-based Lemit Papers, a duplex board manufacturer, showcased its white back and grey back duplex boards at the recent PaperEx exhibition in Greater Noida. Duplex boards find use in packaging applications such as disposable cups, garment packaging, toys and game boxes, and pharmaceuticals. Coated duplex boards are also used in the food and beverage industry for takeaways and food deliveries.

The company has been exporting its duplex boards to more than 20 countries in the European, North American, African, Middle-Eastern, and South Asian markets, Narendra Dhoriyani, director – Lemit Papers told Packaging South Asia.

Dhoriyani said Lemit Papers has the most technologically advanced paper mill in Morbi city in Gujarat. Relying most on European machines, Lemit Papers manufactures quality white back and grey back duplex boards for the domestic and international markets.

“The paper industry is going through a slow phase but soon, there will be a lot of demand for packaging boards and other papers. The industry is likely to boom in six months to a year,” he said.

The company had participated at PaperEx last year as well but this year, it was an altogether different experience, Dhoriyani said. “We received many business visitors at our stand and the response was exceptional. PaperEx is a very good platform for connecting with our channel partners as well as distributors,” he concluded.
