Telangana-based dairy brand Sid’s Farm has announced the launch of its new salted butter range, which includes cow butter and buffalo butter. These products will be available in Hyderabad and Bengaluru markets, where it will be distributed through the direct-to-consumer channel from August 1, 2023.
The company says the butter range has no antibiotics, no preservatives and no hormones, and comes in 100g boxes. Kishore Indukuri, founder, Sid’s Farm, said, “As we aim to create a range of pure and unadulterated milk and milk products, it was a natural next step for us to add great tasting, traditionally made, salted butter to our basket. Our range of butter is churned from absolutely pure cow and buffalo milk that gives it the amazing taste and assurance of good health.”
He adds, “Packed with the goodness of nature, our range butter is directed to enhance the diverse flavors of rich Indian cuisines. Our sustainably sourced milk stands true to our commitment to providing pure and unadulterated milk products to our customers who care about the quality of food they eat.”
According to a press release, Sid’s Farm adheres to stringent norms and test processes to ensure the highest quality of milk and dairy products. Each batch of milk undergoes several tests to eliminate the presence of urea, sugar, glucose, starch, peroxide, baking soda, caustic soda, formalin, melamine, and three classes of antibiotics among other things to address the chances of any adulteration at a micro level.
At Sid’s Farm, the testing of milk starts from the procurement stage itself. Each packet of milk product produced by Sid’s Farm has to clear every test before it reaches the end consumer anywhere. Their lab conducts more than 6,500 tests every day to ensure nothing but real adulterant-free milk and dairy products are supplied to their customers.
