Elanpro, an Indian commercial refrigeration company, inaugurated its first Experience Centre in Bengaluru, a step the company said would transform the way businesses explore, evaluate, and adopt cooling technologies. Located in BEML Third Stage, Rajarajeshwari Nagar, the center offers a hands-on experience with a full suite of commercial refrigeration products tailored for diverse industry needs.

Present at the ribbon cutting ceremony were Pradeep Pai, managing director, Hangyo Ice Creams, Ranjan Jain, managing director, Elanpro, and Pankaj Jawa, senior VP, Elanpro.

Designed for the HoReCa, QSRs, quick commerce segments, manufacturers of ice cream, dairy, food retail, frozen food, and healthcare, the 1500 square feet flagship store brings together a wide-ranging product portfolio, including the all-new stainless steel kitchen refrigeration range, bakery solutions, innovative beverage dispensers, soft serve and slush machines, cold room solutions, ice machines, and AI-enabled vending machines.

According to Elanpro, this launch comes at a pivotal time for Bengaluru’s food and beverage ecosystem, which has been witnessing accelerated growth in 2025. The city’s robust IT sector and the return of professionals to office campuses have significantly spurred demand for quick-service restaurants, corporate cafeterias, and cloud kitchens across tech corridors such as Whitefield, Electronic City, and Outer Ring Road.

The expansion of the Bengaluru Metro and the development of new business districts have led to a surge in convenience retail and neighborhood cafés catering to daily commuters. The city’s thriving startup culture, particularly in D2C food brands, ice cream parlors, and artisanal dairy, has added a new layer of refrigeration needs, from production to last-mile delivery. The company anticipates generating revenue of Rs 8 crore over the next 12 months from its center.

Speaking at the event, Ranjan Jain said, “This Experience Center is a milestone in our journey. It exemplifies our commitment to innovation and excellence, offering customers firsthand access and experience to our cutting-edge solutions. Aligning seamlessly with our growth strategy, the Bengaluru Experience Centre is central to our expansion plans. As we expand nationally and replicate this model in key cities, our goal is to make our pioneering innovations more accessible across India.”

“With the commercial refrigeration market in India projected to grow at over 10% CAGR, Elanpro aims to bridge the industry’s awareness and application gap by offering business owners, OEM partners, and dealers a space to learn the advancements in refrigeration technology,” he said.

Pradeep Pai of Hangyo Ice Creams, said, “As someone who deeply understands the critical role of refrigeration in ensuring product quality, consistency, and customer delight, especially in a category like ice cream, I can confidently say this Experience Centre will be a game-changer. It not only showcases innovation but empowers brands like ours to make informed, efficient choices as we scale. My congratulations to the team for creating a space that truly puts performance on display.”

The center serves as a dual-purpose learning and engagement hub, where buyers can explore the nuances of product selection, best maintenance practices, and energy-saving features. Visitors can consult with trained product specialists, see comparative installations, and experience how correct sizing, layout, and usage impact efficiency, especially in high-demand categories like frozen desserts, packaged foods, and quick-service restaurants.

The facility showcases products compliant with the latest BIS norms, utilizes low-GWP refrigerants, and introduces visitors to IoT-enabled refrigeration management systems that reduce energy wastage and improve operational efficiency.

The company plans to open three Experience Centres in Karnataka by 2027. It also announced plans to replicate the model in southern cities such as Kochi, Mangalore, and Hyderabad in the coming year, expanding access to its evolving portfolio and technical expertise.
