Tossin Pizza, the homegrown gourmet quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand, has entered Karnataka with the opening of its first Bengaluru flagship in Koramangala. The move expands the company’s presence in southern India, where it already operates in Hyderabad, and brings its restaurant network to one of the country’s most competitive metropolitan food markets. Established in 2013, Tossin Pizza has grown to 27 outlets across key cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Hyderabad.

The Bengaluru opening is a significant step for a business that began as a single takeaway counter at Galleria Market in Gurugram. Founded by Chef Rohit Narang and Honey Mehta, Tossin was built around the opportunity to offer restaurant-quality pizzas in an accessible, quick-service format. Over the years, the company has developed a distinct identity in the category, creating a space between conventional pizza chains and premium casual dining restaurants.

Koramangala has been chosen as the brand’s first Bengaluru location for its established restaurant ecosystem and mix of residential, corporate and social dining audiences. The new flagship introduces Tossin’s existing menu portfolio, including gourmet vegetarian and non-vegetarian pizzas, pastas, baked specialities, desserts and signature accompaniments.

Speaking on the launch, Rohit Narang, founder and chef, Tossin Pizza, said, “Bengaluru is an important addition to our journey. We’ve spent the last 13 years building Tossin one market at a time, understanding our customers and strengthening the business along the way. Entering a city with such an established food culture is both exciting and a responsibility. Our priority is to build a strong foundation here, introduce people to the food we’re known for and grow in a way that allows us to maintain the standards we’ve set for ourselves. We’re looking at Bengaluru as a long-term market, not simply another outlet opening.”

Tossin’s entry comes as India’s gourmet food-service industry sees growing interest in differentiated, homegrown restaurant concepts. While large chains continue to dominate the organised pizza category, independent Indian brands are finding opportunities through specialised menus, distinctive identities and formats that appeal to consumers seeking alternatives to conventional fast food.

Operating within the gourmet QSR segment, Tossin Pizza combines a premium menu with an accessible restaurant format. Its approach has allowed the company to expand across different urban markets while retaining a recognisable brand identity.

With its Bengaluru debut, Tossin adds Karnataka to its operating footprint and continues its transition from a regional restaurant concept to a multi-city Indian food-service business. The Koramangala flagship marks the latest development in that journey, as the company explores opportunities in metropolitan markets beyond its original base in Delhi NCR.
