At the Indusfood show in Greater Noida in January, Happa, a baby food provider, presented an innovative choke-free range of packaging with its rainbow-colored product range. The closure solution on its stand-up pouches has been designed keeping in mind that children tend to put everything in their mouths. So, even if a child were to fiddle around with these caps, they won’t choke even if they swallowed one.

Pankaj Sharma, director of the company, said, “Our packs don’t have any gradient in their color as an 8-month-old cannot differentiate between gradients. The rainbow-colored packs inspire the kids as food comes in many colors. So they won’t grow up to be picky eaters.”

The idea of Happa came from a personal need. Sharma says, “My wife and I struggled to find healthy, on-the-go options for our daughter while traveling. Everything seemed packed with sugar, preservatives, or artificial ingredients. We wanted something natural and nutritious, which was nearly impossible to find. We realized other parents were likely to face the same challenge. So, we created Happa — a line of pure, organic baby food made from fruits and vegetables, free from additives.”

Happa, founded in 2018 out of real-life struggles, discovered how hard it was to find healthy, convenient food options for kids. The company’s goal became to give new-age parents a healthy, convenient option for their little ones, and it’s fulfilling to see so many families benefit from it. Sharma says he envisioned a line of baby foods that parents could trust — organic, free from unnecessary additives, and packed with pure fruits and veggies.

Today, Happa offers a range of organic baby foods that are as close to nature as possible, tailored for little ones but loved by parents too. “What makes Happa special is that it’s made by parents, for parents. As a father myself, I know how important it is to give my daughter the very best when it comes to nutrition. Each product is crafted to be as close to natural as possible, so parents don’t have to compromise on quality or convenience,” he said.

Sharma adds, ”The best part of my experience has been hearing from parents who feel relieved knowing they can trust what they’re feeding their little ones. As a parent myself, I understand the peace of mind that comes with providing the best nutrition. Every story of how Happa has made a positive difference for a family reminds me why we started this journey, and it’s incredibly fulfilling.”
