JBT Corporation, a leading technology provider, has announced the launch of SuperCRss, a steam sterilization technology that can process steel and aluminum cans of all shapes and sizes. This robust and labor-saving automation option inculcates products from various industries, including human food and pet food.

Are you sure that whatever you eat or drink today is properly sterilized? Sterilization is one such factor that affects the shelf-life and quality of the foods. And the process is labor-demanding. But, the problem of a labor shortage is being faced by several countries. Understanding this requirement, JBT Corporation has developed the latest sterilization technology in the form of SuperCRss. SuperCRss technology is not only innovative but labor-saving too. This retort system includes the company’s processing management system, Log-Tech, which enables the manufacturers to process optimally during all phases like, ramping, venting, cooking, and cooling. Providing complete control of all these processes ensures that the product quality is uniform. At the same time, traceability, food safety, automation, and repeatability are other properties that customers can trust.

JBT’s SuperCRss can track data produced by any bath or retort load

SuperCRss can process cans of varied shapes, sizes, and volumes ranging from large food service products to retail-size containers. The system is built with automatic loading and unloading technology and can benefit products with its static thermal process. The Basket Tracking System combined with SuperCRss allows data to be easily tracked by any bath or retort load. The role of BTS is to control and verify that all the products are commercially sterilized before leaving the automatic batch retort systems. This, in turn, ensures food safety.
