Indian alcobev major DeVANS Modern Breweries has expanded its pan-India footprint through a strategic production tie-up with a major brewery in the northeastern part of the country. In a strategic move aimed at bolstering production capacity to meet the surging demand for its beers and building upon the success of previous tie-ups in Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh, DeVANS has now entered into a production tie-up with a prominent entity in the brewing landscape of Assam. The move enhances DeVANS’ production capacity to a whopping 190600 KL, translating to an additional production of more than 10 lakh cases per year.

Speaking on the occasion, Prem Dewan, CMD of DeVANS expressed enthusiasm for the partnership, stating, “Assam represents a vibrant market with immense growth potential in the brewing industry. Our collaboration in Assam not only enables us to efficiently serve the local market but also underscores our dedication to providing consumers with unparalleled quality and taste.” He said the company’s expansion into Assam marks a milestone in its mission to introduce consumers to exceptional beverages crafted with passion and expertise. Renowned for iconic beer brands such as Godfather and Six Fields, DeVANS continues to push boundaries with innovative offerings.

In alignment with its commitment to innovation, DeVANS is poised to introduce new and exciting products tailored for the discerning Indian palate. With plans for the launch of a premium craft gin and additional expressions of its acclaimed single malt GianChand whisky, DeVANS remains at the forefront of the beverage industry’s evolution. Most recently, DeVANS debuted in the Premium Lager Segment with two unique beers – Six Fields Brute with up to 8% abv and Six Fields Pilsner with up to 5% abv. While Brute is strong enough to tame the bold, Pilsner is the most ideal lounging partner.

The forthcoming tie-up in Assam underscores DeVANS’ strategic vision and unwavering dedication to delivering excellence in every sip. As DeVANS continues to redefine the landscape of India’s brewing industry with its pioneering spirit and commitment to quality, consumers can anticipate an unparalleled experience.
