Kiefel Packaging, the Upper Austrian subsidiary of the Freilassing-based mechanical engineering company Kiefel, has been put under a dual management system since 1 September 2022.
Andreas Staudinger took on the duties of the previous managing director Robin Roth in spring and now heads the location as chief sales officer (CSO) jointly with Christian Töscher as chief operations officer (COO).
The company would like to continue the positive business development of the site, especially regarding tools and automation solutions.
“Kiefel Packaging in Micheldorf develops highly innovative tool and automation solutions for our machines for processing plastics and natural fibers,” says Thomas Halletz, CEO of the company. “With the new dual leadership on site, we can further strengthen the location and jointly accelerate the progress of advance technological development projects.”
Andreas Staudinger has been with Kiefel for more than 30 years and is an experienced manager with extensive market and process knowledge. He will hold the position of managing director at the company in addition to his role as head of the Polymer Packaging Division at Kiefel, which he has held for around two years.
Christian Töscher looks back on his relevant experience as COO in the management of an international company for the manufacture of machine components and tools in the metal and glass processing industry. Here he was the driving force behind, among other things, harmonization projects at various plants, the implementation of lean concepts, and strategic purchasing projects.
The company develops and produces machines for processing plastics, recycled and bio-based materials, and natural fibers. It’s customers include well-known manufacturers from the medical and pharmaceutical engineering, refrigerator, and packaging industries.
Kiefel has a global presence in the USA, France, the Netherlands, Russia, China, and India, and sales and service partners in more than 60 countries.
