Bangladesh is India’s biggest trade and development partner in South Asia. Over the recent years, ties between the two countries have received a major boost in terms of trade, connectivity, and infrastructure development.

Commercial ties between the two developing economies have strengthened over the years. Bangladesh is India’s largest trading partner in the sub-continent with the total bilateral trade between the two nations standing at $9.5 billion (approximately Rs 71,021 crore) in 2019-20, down compared to the previous fiscal, having crossed $10 billion (approximately Rs 74,759 crore).

India-Bangladesh Virtual Exhibition will take place in Bangladesh from August 23-25 2021. Focused sectors of the trade exhibition include food and agri products, pharmaceuticals and medical, plastic and packaging, automotive and allied products.

The trade show will have more than 35 industrial exhibitors from India whole more than 200 trade visitors from Bangladesh are expected to attend the show. Participation charges for the exhibition are Rs 15,000 plus 18% GST.
