After the successful launch of its A2 Desi Cow Milk last August, Sid’s Farm, a D2C dairy brand based in Telangana, on 20 January announced the launch of its premium ghee brand, A2 Desi Cow Ghee. The ghee product will be available at Rs 999 for 350 gms.

Sid’s Farm is available in stores around Hyderabad and on eCommerce sites in Bengaluru serving milk and regular-use dairy products. Sid’s Farm offers customers cow and buffalo milk and a range of dairy products.

Kishore Indukuri, founder and MD, Sid’s Farm said, “Launching the A2 Desi Cow Ghee was an organic step for Sid’s Farm after the unprecedented response to the launch of the A2 Desi Cow Milk. Every Indian has known the benefits of ghee for digestion, strength, and vitality.”

He added, “There is a steep rise in demand for good quality premium ghee and thus we are stepping in to deliver premium quality unadulterated real A2 Desi Cow Ghee at their doorstep”.

It may be mentioned that the National Milk Safety and Quality Survey 2018 found harmful contaminants such as aflatoxin-M1, antibiotics, and pesticides in major milk brands. Even FSSAI said only 62.3% of milk sold meets the standard, which is far below the global average.

Sid’s Farm claims to offer pure skimmed milk, whole buffalo milk, whole cow milk, cow ghee, cow butter, buffalo butter, buffalo ghee, cow curd, buffalo curd, and paneer.
