Xeikon has announced its participation at ExpoPrint 2022, where local dealer Apolo Sistemas Gráficos will represent the company. Taking place on 5–9 April 2022, at the Expo Center Norte in São Paulo, the trade show, together with ConverExpo, is the largest printing event in Latin America.

Visitors to Apolo Sistemas Gráficos’ booth C-15-1105 in the Green Pavilion will experience the versatility of the Label Discovery Package, which takes pride of place in the large corner dedicated to Xeikon. Daily demonstrations will show two types of label applications being produced live – a self-adhesive food supplement label printed on a silver substrate and a clear-on-clear label for the health and beauty sector. Also highlighted on the booth will be the Xeikon CX300 and PX3300 digital label presses.

The Label Discovery Package is an entry-level solution, which combines the Xeikon Cheetah 2.0 digital printing platform with the X-800 digital front end, for a fully inclusive label workflow. This highly productive combination allows converters to enter digital label printing at a very competitive price point, allowing them to address a wide variety of markets. Importantly, it comes with the option to upgrade the printing speed and the web width later, so the press can grow with customer requirements. This makes the Label Discovery Package a future-proof investment. It is ideal for anyone stepping into the label market for the first time or for those wishing to accelerate their existing conventional label business.

“We are incredibly excited to bring the Label Discovery Package to ExpoPrint 2022. We will be running live label jobs to demonstrate the power of this attractive solution fully,” says Michel Guttmann Serwaczak, director and president, Apolo Sistemas Gráficos. “Since we first started our cooperation with Xeikon in 2019, we have experienced a huge interest in these digital label presses, and now this demand is growing rapidly.”

Established in 1987, Apolo Sistemas Gráficos supplies prepress, printing, finishing and packaging equipment to small, medium and large graphic companies, representing and distributing well-known global brands. In 2015, the company added a labels division to meet the increasing demand for narrow web solutions.

The successful partnership with Xeikon was recently extended from machine sales to include all consumables and after-sales service, making Apolo the first port of call for all local customers. “The cooperation between our two companies is exceptionally good,” said Marco Avanzi, Sales director Indirect Channels at Xeikon. “The team at Apolo has a huge amount of expertise and experience in printing and converting along with in-depth local knowledge of the Brazilian market, so they are a perfect match for Xeikon. The agreement is a great example of our mission to ‘Think global and act local’, which Apolo and Xeikon are bringing to this important show.”

Serwaczak concludes, “After such difficult times for us all, we are very happy to be at ExpoPrint to meet new and existing customers in person and introduce them to the Label Discovery Package and our other Xeikon solutions.”
