At the stand, visitors will be able to explore how product inspection, connected production data and expert service can help food manufacturers manage product safety and quality, reduce avoidable waste and maintain control across increasingly demanding production environments

At Anuga FoodTec India 2026, Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection, a global leader in precision instruments and inspection solutions, will demonstrate how food manufacturers can inspect every product with confidence, protect brands and profits, and comply with evolving regulatory requirements, under the theme ‘Inspect. Protect. Comply.’

Taking place from 29 September to 1 October 2026, the show will see Mettler-Toledo present its proven product inspection solutions in Hall 4, Booth L-51, aligned with the company’s wider ‘Your Partner in Precision’ positioning.

At the stand, visitors will be able to explore how product inspection, connected production data and expert service can help food manufacturers manage product safety and quality, reduce avoidable waste and maintain control across increasingly demanding production environments

Product inspection at critical control points

A central focus for Mettler-Toledo at Anuga FoodTec India 2026 will be its range of inspection technologies for food manufacturers looking to strengthen safety and quality control across the production line.

Checkweighing, metal detection, and x-ray inspection technologies will be represented on the stand, giving visitors the opportunity to discuss the best inspection approach for their products, packaging formats and production challenges.

For manufacturers focused on accurate weight control, the C33 checkweigher will show how in-line checkweighing can help identify under- and over-filled packs, reduce product giveaway, and support compliance with weights and measures requirements. Its flexible design makes it well suited to food production environments where accuracy, throughput, and consistency are critical.

The M31R metal detector will demonstrate how reliable metal contaminant detection can be integrated into food production lines without adding unnecessary complexity. Designed for dependable day-to-day operation, the M31R supports manufacturers in identifying and rejecting metal contamination in  products before they reach consumers.

Mettler-Toledo will also showcase its x-ray inspection capabilities through the X12 and X13 systems. These technologies help manufacturers detect a wide range of physical contaminants, including metal, glass, mineral stone, calcified bone, and high-density plastics, depending on the product and application. The X13 is designed to inspect bulk flow products prior to packaging, to protect downstream equipment and reduce recall risk. In addition to foreign body detection, x-ray inspection solutions for packaged products, such as the X12, can support further product and packaging quality checks, helping manufacturers identify issues such as missing items, damaged products or compromised pack integrity.

Together, the inspection systems on the stand will demonstrate how manufacturers can apply the right technology at the right point in the production process, supporting weight control, contamination detection, product integrity and quality assurance from processing through to final packaged goods.

Connected data and compliance with ProdX

Product inspection technologies generate valuable quality and compliance data, but that data needs to be easy to capture, access and act on. At Anuga FoodTec India 2026, Mettler-Toledo will highlight ProdX, its data management software for product inspection, as a key part of a more connected approach to production line control.

ProdX connects product inspection devices across the line into a single, centralized view. It collects inspection results in real-time, automates data capture and traceability, and helps manufacturers strengthen digitalisation, documentation and food safety compliance across their operations.

By standardising record-keeping and creating clear, audit-ready reports, ProdX enables manufacturers to substantiate compliance, streamline audits, and maintain tighter control of product quality. Automated workflows, fewer paper records and faster investigations can also help reduce operational costs, while supporting more secure handling of quality and compliance data.

Real-time visibility of inspection performance gives production and quality teams the insight they need to respond quickly to emerging issues, minimize waste, and keep lines running efficiently. For manufacturers seeking greater control, traceability and audit readiness, ProdX helps take product inspection processes to the next level.

Your partner in precision

The Mettler-Toledo “Your Partner in Precision” positioning reflects the company’s broader role in supporting manufacturers with more than inspection equipment alone. From application advice and system selection through to installation, training, performance verification and ongoing service, Mettler-Toledo works with customers to build inspection programmes that reflect their production needs and business goals.

Visitors to Hall 4, Booth L-51 will be able to meet Mettler-Toledo specialists and discuss how product inspection technologies can be used to support productivity, compliance and long-term operational resilience.

This partnership approach is increasingly important as food manufacturers balance rising production costs, changing consumer expectations, tighter quality requirements, and the need to keep lines moving efficiently. By combining inspection technologies, digital tools, and service expertise, Mettler-Toledo helps manufacturers build more reliable, data-led quality control processes.

“Food manufacturers are operating in a highly pressured environment, where product integrity, productivity and compliance must all be managed at the same time,” said, Siddarth Kachroo, head of sales India, Mettler-Toledo Product Inspection. “At Anuga FoodTec India, we will demonstrate how our inspection technologies, software, and service support can help customers take a more precise and connected approach to quality control. This reflects our role as Your Partner in Precision and our commitment to helping manufacturers inspect, protect, and comply with confidence.”

Visitors can experience live demonstrations and speak with product inspection specialists at Anuga FoodTec India 2026 in Hall 4, Booth L-51.
