Today, the world is witnessing changing preferences of consumers across generations and geographies. Indians are turning to premium products for more sophisticated tasting experiences. They are also seeking out new categories (native spirits, new world wines, Japanese whiskies, and many others) and innovations (no- and low-alcohol and ready-to-drink products) to experiment with. These, in turn, are turning the wheels of product innovation and marketing strategies. Changes in lifestyles and hybrid working policies aimed at work-life balance have an evident bearing on these trends.

Alcoholic beverages are among the top three sources of revenue across most states in India, and the industry employs more than 15 million people. India’s alcobev industry is the third-largest globally with a value of $35 billion (approximately Rs 26.46 lac crore) and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 6.8% till 2023, as per the reports by Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER). While the spirits segment in India is expected to grow by 25% to 2022, domestic beer consumption is expected to expand at a CAGR of 11% per annum by 2025.

The organisers of Craft Drinks India (CDI) are happy to invite you to participate in the new and vibrantBrews & Spirits Expo’ to be held on 6 – 7 July 2022 at the Manpho Convention Centre, Bangalore. The expo has garnered a good response from exhibitors of previous editions and the industry fraternity by large. A parallel conference and other key features such as master classes, tasting sessions, and mixology challenges at the show are being deliberated by industry leaders/experts/associations and are brewing well. Enclosed is the brochure of the expo for your kind reference.

The expo is supported by the Karnataka Brewers and Distilleries Association, Confederation of Indian Alcoholic Beverage Companies, Craft Brewers Association Of India, Wine & Spirits Club of India, Indian Flair Bartenders Association and many more.

Brews and Spirits magazine, published by PDA Ventures, will be the official media partner for better outreach in the alcobev industry and play a catalysing role in the expo’s success. Driven by the synergy between the magazine and the event, the expo will be a unique and comprehensive event that addresses the myriad challenges faced by the industry and also the opportunities that arise.
