RCPL says the Bombay Creamery portfolio is made with real dairy cream

Reliance Consumer Products (RCPL), the FMCG arm of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), has announced the launch of its new brand Bombay Creamery, marking its dedicated foray into the country’s burgeoning ice cream market.

Backed by RCPL’s national distribution infrastructure, retail scale and consumer insights, the launch signals a serious, long-term commitment to the category. The company says it is built on one promise — authentic dairy ingredients and a quality experience every time. RCPL says the Bombay Creamery portfolio is made with real dairy cream.

T Krishnakumar, director, Reliance Consumer Products, said, “We built Bombay Creamery around one simple idea that dairy shouldn’t need shortcuts. RCPL is not just entering the ice cream category — we’re committing to it. Made with real dairy cream, Bombay Creamery guarantees the promise of genuine taste of a real ice cream every single time, at a price every Indian family can afford.”

The Bombay Creamery ice cream range includes an array of real ice creams across popular formats such as cones, cups, tubs, bars and sticks, with prices starting at Rs 10. Starting with immediate availability in Western India, Bombay Creamery Ice Creams will soon be rolled out pan-India.
