DS Group has officially partnered with iconic British bakery Ben’s Cookies to launch the famous artisanal chain in India. The Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group)—which owns brands such as Catch Spices, Pulse Candy, and luxury retail concepts like L’Opéra—is executing the rollout through its retail arm, DS Retail India.

The first few stores are scheduled to open by early June 2026, BusinessLine reported, focusing exclusively on Delhi-NCR and Mumbai. The conglomerate plans to establish 8 to 10 outlets during this fiscal year.

Outlets will strictly follow a “bakery-first” retail format, meaning every single cookie will be freshly baked on-site at each store to preserve the brand’s signature soft, warm, gooey texture. Ben’s Cookies has built a cult global following since its 1983 origin in Oxford for using massive chocolate chunks rather than small chips.

The Indian menu will feature global fan favorites such as Milk Chocolate Chunk, White Chocolate & Macadamia, and Ginger & Dark Chocolate. DS Group is also launching a dedicated eggless variant explicitly tailored for the Indian market. Individual premium cookies will start at ₹325, with curated gifting boxes scaling upwards of ₹1,500 for corporate and festive occasions, the financial media reported.

This move is a calculated bet on India’s booming premium dessert sector, specifically targeting Gen Z and millennial consumers looking for high-end, indulgent culinary experiences. It adds a high-margin, artisanal bakery vertical to DS Group’s growing food, beverage, and luxury retail portfolio
