Global beverage firm Coca-Cola recently announced its plans to lay off 2,200 employees worldwide as part of its organizational restructuring process. The proposed layoffs are also in part affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
According to sources, this reorganization is not expected to impact the employee number on the Indian arm of the company, which is said to employ close to 200 people. The number of employees in the Indian operations are expected to increase in due course of time, the sources stated.
